Class book of the College Class of 1852

The class book of the Class of 1852 was maintained by John Thomas Carpenter, A.B. 1852, and William Lehman Wells, A.B. 1852, and presented to the University in 1877. Apparently this book was intended as the sole class record, with no copies made for individual members of the class. It is primarily handwritten, with the exception of a few printed programs and newsclippings pasted on some pages. Updates were added over time and in different hands.

The many blank pages between entries have been omitted from the facsimile version presented here as a PDF file, which can be viewed and printed with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
