First construction in the University City Science Center

With its futuristic logo, the University City Science Center used this sign in 1968 to thank its funding partners and to impress the public with its extraordinary size, both physical and financial. The sign stood on the site of construction for the Center's "Building Number Two" at 3508 Market Street.
