| Description: Prepared by the
West Philadelphia Corporation, this map of Unit 3 details the developers for each
property within the tract. The date of the map is significant, as the summer and
fall of 1967 was the time when most demolition occurred. The University City Science
Center was the largest single developer, with contracts for five full city blocks
and a portion of a sixth. Conflict over displacement, however, had resulted in
a compromise arrangement and the map was annotated by hand to show three spaces
where low cost housing had been promised to those who demanded it. {Artist
