How to Find the University Archives

Franklin Field, 1902

The University Archives is located in the North Arcade of Franklin Field Stadium, on 33rd Street between Spruce/South Street and Walnut Street.

The entrance to the University Archives is located along the driveway between Franklin Field and the tennis courts (in front of the Palestra). The entrance is marked by a sign on the fifth arch in the arcade.

A campus map indicates the location of the University Archives and Records Center.

Both photographs of Franklin Field are looking toward downtown Philadelphia, with Spruce Street on the right and 33rd Street on the lower left. The Archives are located in the North Arcade, under the stands shown on the left of the 1945 photograph.
