Eric Chapman Rodin (1930- 1991)

    Eric Chapman Rodin was born in Orange, New Jersey, on February 5, 1930. He attended Penn's Wharton School in 1949 only. There is no record of his involvement with sports.

    Rodin, an outfielder, was signed by the New York Giants as a free agent in 1950. He made his major league baseball debut with the Giants on September 7, 1954, playing five games during this, his only season in the majors.

    He died on January 4, 1991, in Somerville, New Jersey.
