Undergraduate Student Governance at Penn 1895-2006

Student Government at the University of Pennsylvania has been a long standing tradition dating back to the end of the nineteenth century. The historical record shows that, through the years, the student organizations charged with governing Penn's undergraduates have appeared and vanished. Undergraduate students at Penn, however, have been very much involved with University Governance for well over one hundred years.
