About the creator of this finding aid:

For more than a quarter century, since 1973 to be precise, James Curtiss Ayers has developed and catalogued the collections of University publications at the University Archives and Record Center. No person in the history of the University Archives has dedicated greater continuous service to assembling, making accessible for research, and servicing Penn's archival collections. As this is written, Curtiss is going strong, with many more years of productive work on the horizon ahead. His colleagues at the University Archives congratulate him on his successful transition to the world wide web. We hope the reader finds it particularly useful and enjoys knowing something about its creator.
